Two Little Stars was created in memory of our son and daughter, inspired by our own experience of child loss and the journey of grief that follows for families and siblings left behind. 

Formerly known as Byron`s Memory, our small family team understands both personally and professionally the devastating impact of losing a child. Following the loss of our daughter earlier this year, we made the decision to continue our work in honour of both our children, creating Two Little Stars to carry their legacy forward by honouring babies from 22 weeks + gestation to 18 years.

Our mission is simple : 

To provide meaningful keepsakes to siblings following the loss of a baby of 22 weeks gestation upto  18 years of age.

Alongside our charity work, we work closely with funeral directors, hospitals, and child bereavement organisations and carry out child repatriations throughout the UK. 

Every memory box we provide represents kindness, compassion, and the support of those who believe in helping bereaved children during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Currently, sibling memory boxes are available through referrals only. These referrals are made by Funeral Directors and Funeral Homes when they have a baby or child under the age of 18 in their care who has siblings at home.

As a small family concern with limited resources, this referral process helps ensure our memory boxes reach the families they are intended for and allows us to continue providing support in a sustainable and meaningful way.

If you are a Funeral Director or Funeral Professional and have a family in your care who may benefit from a sibling memory box, please contact us using either the referral form, or contact us and we endeavour to help with your need.

To maintain confidentiality and protect the privacy of families, we do not require names, addresses, or any personal information relating to the family involved.

Thank you for completing our referral form. Once processed We will send you a payment link for the cost of postage and packaging at £6.00. Once payment has been received, we will process your request and prepare your sibling support box. 

Unfortunately this is a cost that is out of our control.

Q: I`m a funeral professional and sadly have a baby or child in our care who has a sibling at home. How do we request a box from Two Little Stars ?.

A: Simply send us a message - we are here to help we have made the process as simple and easy as possible by adding an online referral form.

Q: What information do you need ?

A: We require very little information and fully understand the importance of confidentiality during such sensitive circumstances.

We do not need names or any personal details relating to the family involved. To process your request, we simply ask for;

• Your funeral home details

• The ages and genders of the baby or child in your care

• The ages and genders of any siblings receiving a memory box

To ensure our boxes are distributed appropriately, we are only able to send them directly to Funeral Directors or Funeral Homes.

Q: Will you be posting it on social media ?

A: We will always ask for your consent through our online form before sharing anything on social media.

If permission is given, we only photograph the completed sibling memory box and acknowledge the funeral home it is being sent to.

Many of the items included in our sibling memory boxes are generously donated by supporters through our wishlist. Sharing photographs of completed boxes allows our supporters to see the impact of their kindness and the difference their contributions make to bereaved families.

We never request or collect names, addresses, or any other personal information relating to the family involved, as this information is not required for us to provide support. No personal or identifiable information about the family will ever be shared.

Q: Why are our memory boxes only available through Funeral Directors ?

A: As much as we would love to support every family who contacts us directly, we are a small family concern with limited resources and we rely on the generosity of individuals and companies buying items from the Wishlist.

In the past, when operating as Byron`s Memory, we discovered that some memory boxes had unfortunately been sold on rather than treasured as they were intended to be. This resulted in valuable fundraising income and countless volunteer hours being lost.

For this reason, we made the difficult decision to provide boxes only through referrals from Funeral Directors. This ensures they reach the families they are intended for and allows us to continue supporting bereaved siblings in the most meaningful and sustainable way possible.

Q: How can people support Two Little Stars ?

A: Every form of support makes a difference.

Whether you donate through our Amazon Wishlist, share our posts, leave a kind comment, recommend us to a Funeral Director, or simply help spread awareness of our work, you are helping us continue supporting bereaved siblings and their families.

Q: Do you provide boxes for display purposes in funeral homes ?

A: Sadly we cannot currently do this. Every memory box is made up of items that have been purchased from the Wishlist by our supporters and followers and are very limited. So each box we are lucky enough to be able to complete has to go solely to the sibling that it has been requested for.  

Two Little Stars has never been just about donations. Raising awareness allows us to reach more families and continue growing our support network for those who need it most.
